This month, we were all fortunate enough to spend some time in Cape Cod. And, after years of trying, we finally were able to attend the Chatham Bookstore, "Where the Sidewalk Ends" Fancy Nancy Tea Party at the Old Captains Inn in Chatham. So, how does one prepare for this event? Get fancy of course....Craftree style!
A) Accessorize
Start off by creating headpieces a la Princess Kate!
We would love to give you full how to instructions for these, but they were made as one offs for this event. But, we just bought some fake flowers, feathers, and butterflies and glued them with the hot glue gun onto a headband. Try it and let your imagination run wild. There are no rules here! We think they came out c'est magnifique - that's French for Fancy, of course!

B) Dress Up
Feather boas are a must but we thought fancy tutus would make our outfits complete. We liked this pattern for filled tutus, because, well, they were just fancier.

C) Tea Party Rules
In order to have the perfect tea party, you need to follow these rules.
Rule #1 Always ask your fellow guest if they want sugar in their tea - one lump or two?
